They have seasonal drinks, which was amazing. I always order the ube horchata and ube cappuccino pair it with the guava croissant. Highly recommend. The atmosphere is cozy, lots of space and not noisy.
Tucked away off Colfax, this is a cozy coffee shop with ample space and a good kitchen. Had the seasonal Biscoff Latte, sweetness is very controlled and I can actually taste the cookies -- and that's not accounting for the crumbles on top! The Pesto Chicken panini + side salad is a great combo to get for lunch. Panini is warm and packed with fresh ingredients, no skimping on the chicken and bacon. Pesto and cheese has great flavor, definitely worth a try. The side salad comes with a variety of dressing, I chose the sweet chili ranch, it's more exciting but would not say it's got much heat.
Lastly, if street parking is tough, they validate for 2h at the lot next door.
This was a good find in the area. I absolutely love the space, it was very chill and they have a cute garage door that they leave open for entry.
I got an iced White Chocolate latte and it was amazing. The prices also aren’t bad at all. I didn’t try any of the food, but it all smelled so good.
Amazing specialty drinks (lattes and cappuccinos) with fantastic avocado toast. Absolutely worth the visit.
Order: Biscoff Baby (Biscoff cookie butter latte), Butter Maple Cappuccino, Avocado Toast, Grilled Cheese
About: $33
Review: I’m honestly not quite sure where to start. Almost everything was amazing! They had a lot of great seating and it looks like in the summer they can open the bay doors to let in the air.
While I’m not sure they they always have what we ordered since their seasonal, after tasting a few things I think you’d have a hard time going wrong. The butter maple cappuccino had a wonderfully complex espresso flavor with bursts maple and I swear the Biscoff baby tasted like the perfect blend of cookie butter and espresso.
The food was slightly less consistent. The avocado toast was great, one of my favorite of all time actually, but the grilled cheese was disappointing. I’d actually call it a ham sandwich not a grilled cheese as there was more ham on it than cheese, and the game wasn’t great. Definitely skip it and stick with their other offerings.
While the grilled cheese was a miss, overall Doppio was amazing and definitely a place I would return to.
Doppio Coffee has a variety of drink and menu options.
There are some gluten-free pastries available.
The baristas were friendly. The shop was clean, bright, and nice. My mocha tasted pretty decent.
Street parking was taken. I parked in a lot that was $5/hr. The door to the coffee shop said 2-hour free parking. I had already parked but wondered whether that included the 2-hour space where I had parked.
I like that the coffee shop is family-owned.
Literally one of the best avocado toast’s I’ve ever had. Tried a seasonal cold brew with pistachio cold foam - so yummy. Will def be back.
Coffee is just ok, food was not good (think fast food bfest level), service was ok, barista wasnt especially friendly and the location is unfortunately sketchy af. Not that it is this places fault but while sitting outside for maybe 10 min, a presumably homeless guy threw his cup of coffee across the store and outside onto a parked car then picked up a street sign that had fallen over and started hitting the car. Anxiety-ridden is not how I prefer my mornings to be. Theres better and safer coffee shops…
A place truly worthy of 5 stars. Good coffee and good food. Beyond expectation for a reasonable price. Nestled in a cute spot with indoor and outdoor seating completed with warm woods and plants for that cozy feel. COVID conscientious which is well appreciated. Don’t miss this spot! Our food and drinks were amazing
